Sie kennen bestimmt alle das Freundespaar aus dem Dschungelbuch! Balu, der starke aber immer freundliche B\u00e4r begleitet den Menschenjungen Mogli eine Zeitlang durch die vielen Wirrungen und Gefahren des Dschungelalltages. Balu l\u00e4sst Mogli auf diesem Weg viel ausprobieren, l\u00e4sst neue Erfahrungen zu, wartet geduldig, bis Mogli weitergeht, hat Zeit zum Zuh\u00f6ren, Sp\u00e4\u00dfe machen, zeigt aber auch wie man mit schwierigen Situa\u00adtionen fertig wird, erkl\u00e4rt die Regeln im Dschungelleben und besch\u00fctzt, wo es n\u00f6tig ist. Kurzum, Balu ist ein verl\u00e4ss\u00adlicher Freund.<\/p>\n

\u201eBalu und Du\u201c ist ein ehrenamtliches Projekt, das Kinder im Grundschulalter ein Jahr lang begleitet.<\/p>\n
Junge ehrenamtliche Erwachsene und Bundesfreiwilligendienstler, die im Auftrag des Go20 hier u.a. an den Schulen arbeiten, werden den Kindern zur Seite stehen und mit ihnen \u201edie Welt entdecken\u201c.<\/p>\n
F\u00fcr Studierende der HAWK Hildesheim gibt es die M\u00f6glichkeit das Mentoring-Projekt als IPS-Kurs anrechnen zu lassen und somit 6 Credits f\u00fcr den Bereich \u201eHAWK plus\u201c zu bekommen.<\/p>\n
Die beiden treffen sich ein Jahr lang einmal in der Woche und verbringen die Freizeit gemeinsam. Die Treffen werden mit den Eltern und dem Kind individuell abgestimmt. In der Wohnumgebung gibt es auch viel zu erleben \u2013 durch die Natur streifen, Spielpl\u00e4tze und Parks besuchen, schwimmen gehen, die B\u00fccherei erkunden, mit dem Bus fahren, ins Kino gehen oder auch mal ein Eis essen \u2013 vielleicht auch mal backen, basteln, malen, miteinander spielen, plaudern und vor allem viel Spa\u00df miteinander haben.<\/p>\n

Durch w\u00f6chentliche Tagebuchberichte und regelm\u00e4\u00dfigen Erfahrungsaustausch ist die Programmleitung \u00fcber die Entwicklung der Beziehung von Balu und Mogli gut informiert. Dabei werden Erfahrungen ausgetauscht und gegenseitige Anregungen weitergegeben.<\/p>\n
Unter der Anleitung der Sozialarbeiterin Manuela Weniger machen auch in diesem Schuljahr einige „Balu und Du“-P\u00e4rchen unser sch\u00f6nes Hildesheim unsicher! <\/p>\n
Die Teilnahme eines Kindes an \u201eBalu und Du\u201c ist dank unserer F\u00f6rderer kostenlos. Der Verein \u201eBalu und Du e.V.\u201c hat eine Rahmenversicherung f\u00fcr die ehrenamtlichen Paten und die Kinder f\u00fcr die Haftpflicht- und die Unfallversicherung abgeschlossen.<\/p>\n
